With over twenty years of experience in media management, I have held multiple positions as Editor-in-Chief, and have vast experience and expertise in digital transformation and subscription. I have board experience and am used to working closely with owners.
I have held the SVP Editorial role in Sweden's largest local media company where I successfully led a team of 570 journalists distributed across 28 News and Media brands. Our team had big wins enhancing digital content, improving data analytics and subscription models.
In 2016, I found my true passion in consulting roles for various media organizations - with a focus on corporate culture, leadership, and innovation.
I have deep knowledge and expertise in modern media strategies - especially when it comes to editorial content, analysis and digital subscription.
From my experience in the trenches, I have seen first-hand what makes media organizations succeed: I am convinced that a culture change is crucial to creating new business.
Organizations need deeper understanding of what specific content digital customers are willing to pay for. That is today the root of all success for independent journalism. How can we engage our audience more deeply and directly? Digital leadership requires that we build new clusters. We need to create new roles and build an appreciative work climate — and dare to try new things. We need leaders who understand that we must encourage initiatives that we may not yet know the outcome of.
